GARDEN MAINTENANCE
Whether your space is large or small we can tailor a maintenance plan to suit your needs and budget. Our highly skilled team ensures you get the best in efficiency and quality with year round care. We do half day and full day reduced rates for our regular customers or an hourly rate for smaller gardens.
HEDGE TRIMMING
The team at Shaping nature are capable and skilled at trimming hedges up to 3m tall, please consult us if your hedges are larger than this or are located in a difficult to reach position so we can prepare and quote for the job accordingly.
GARDEN CLEARANCE
If you’ve got a neglected patch of land or your garden has just got away from you then we can do full garden clearance including small tree felling/pruning, trimming, strimming, waste away and cultivation of borders. These jobs can be incredibly satisfying for us and the customers to see the transformation, this is a great starting place to inspire ideas on what to do with the new found space and tidiness.
PLANTING
With all the space our garden clearance has created we can implement a planting project, including improving soil quality for optimal plant health and growth, plant sourcing and delivery to site, planting and basic irrigation set up if required. We can even offer an aftercare program for the first year or two of establishment.
WEED MANAGEMENT & MULCHING
Our weed management services are all about keeping your garden healthy, tidy, and thriving. We take a proactive approach to control and eliminate unwanted growth, using safe and effective methods tailored to your specific landscape. Whether you’re dealing with a few persistent weeds or an overgrown area, our team is here to restore balance and protect the beauty of your outdoor space.
EDIBLE GARDENS
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in kitchen gardens we can ensure you have a constant supply of homegrown fruit and vegetables year-round; we will make the kitchen garden organic if requested but we always aim to spray or treat pests on edibles with chemical sprays as a last resort we generally follow permaculture practices unless advised otherwise. Our team is skilled at fruit tree pruning and edible garden planning throughout the year.
PERENNIAL GARDENS
We are at heart plant people; we love plants in all shapes and forms. We have a broad plant knowledge, but we excel where other teams may lack with our extensive perennial and ornamental grass knowledge. We know how to get the best out of them, what to deadhead and what not to waste our time on, how to spread and increase plant numbers and the aesthetic benefits of a garden that changes throughout the seasons.
Garden Consultation/Maintenance Plans
As a qualified garden designer with 15 years’ experience as a gardener in some sizable estates in the UK and New Zealand I have the knowledge required to put together detailed maintenance plans for those customers wanting to undertake more of the maintenance work themselves or wanting to ensure they or their gardener knows what needs doing when and how. I offer garden consultations and detailed maintenance plans as a stand-alone service to customers who feel like expert guidance is the most important thing they need.
